Gonjang Monastery Terton Shakya Zangpo’s sixth reincarnation Rigzin Pema Choephel (1773-1836) studied from Rigzin Kunzang Dorje who was the spiritual son of previous Rinpoche.He was intelligent, kindhearted and very bold since his childhood. He was great scholar and poet had written many valuable texts. monastery cum Shedra was recognized and registered under Sikkim government. We have now about 100 students that are studying in the institute. Monk students are taught all kinds of monastic education along with Tibetan language and English.

Hunuman Tok altitude is 7,200 ft.  Tok means a temple, so it's a temple of Lord Hanuman. wonderful serene ambience and spectacular view of Kanchenjunga range. As the legend says, locals used to worship a stone here for centuries. It is now maintained and preserved by the Units of 17 Mountain Division of the Army.
Gangtok Ropeway 

 This is one of the greatest attractions in Gangtok ***double-cable zig back ropeway which is operational since December 2003. Each cable car can carry up to 24 passengers. There are three stations in this 1km long ride.
You can see a river flowing some 3500 feet below & Kanchenjunga snow peaks and the valleys & beautiful ofGangtok town.

Tshangu Lake or Changu Lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. 40 kilometres from the capital Gangtok . Changu lake is a large lake on the Himalaya. The lake is Oveal shaped & deep blue. Lengeth one kilometer & average depth fifteen meters & it's Altitude 12400ft.
Tsongmo lake is  restricted area permit is required by Indians to visit this place. Foreign nationals are not permitted to visit this lake without special permission. A little distance from the lake is a beautiful natural three storied cave.
